The article offers information on the Individuals With DisabilitiesEducation Act (IDEA) in relation with the U.S. Supreme Court and parental rights. It states that IDEA aims to ensure that free appropriate publiceducation (FAPE) is provided to all students with disabilities who are eligible for special education services. It notes that the U.S. Department of Educationhas been tasked to provide a clear federal definition of appropriate it its implementation regulation. Meanwhile, the Supreme Court’s holdings on Winkleman v. Parma City School District emphasizes a victory of parental rights.

- easier to picture from "big ideas"to details-> more creative
- for review (like vocabulary) or quizz
- for children with disabilities (deaf children for instance)
